Picked this up for $79. This is my second 1821 coronet large cent. It is the lowest mintage coin and a key in the series along with the 1823. Thoughts on grade and problems? Thanks!

looks to have VG sharpness. Few digs on obverse. Reverse color looks a bit odd to me.

Agree, VG-08 sharpness, but what's with that arc on the reverse?

I'll go with the VG grade...looks like it was on top of another coin for awhile...exposed to some contamination.

I think the arc in the original reverse picture was a shadow on the coin.

Not real fond of the reverse, but it's a tough date. Overall, I think you paid a fair price but not a bargain.
