I've looked at this coin numerous times and cannot determine which Haxby number should be assigned.
It's not in the greatest condition but if someone wants to take up the challenge, please feel free.
Anyone see anything that would help?

Cheers, Bill

I think that one is a 761 (76 + J10) in an early state Bill.

It's got that blob from leaf 10 to the vine below. I think that is a die flaw rather than a die crack.

It would probably be helpful to have a photo of that on the leaf 10 reverse markers page.

Thanks Phil310. I had noticed that blob but for some reason I thought it was common on many.

I can think of a couple of others in addition to the 761 J10 reverse that have similar features at leaf 10, and there might be some others.

unruhjonny, you can go to the Haxby catalog of 1859's and look for a match for your 3.

If it's alright I'd like to ask for confirmation on this one also?
I believe it's an early state of PC59-625 Obv. 62 with Rev. P1b.
Anyone have an opinion?

Cheers, Bill

Thanks to both of you.
Papeldog, I believe this one was just minted prior to the crack developing.
Thanks for the photo's of your coin fourmack I can see at least two other markers on your coin that are also on mine.
Thought I had it right but it's always nice to get it double checked and place to rest any lingering doubts.
Thanks again.

Cheers, Bill
