Sort of just a show and tell kind of post here. I found this impaired proof in change the other day and thought it would be neat to show my proof and uncirculated business strike with it. I see posts sometimes asking if the nice business strike they found is actually a proof or a proof without a mintmark, but trust me when you find an actual impaired proof in the wild, you'll know immediately. The mirrored fields are still mostly visible. I couldn't get a good picture of the rims but if you rubbed your finger along it they're pretty sharp. Hopefully the other pictures are clear enough to get what I'm trying to show across. Maybe it might help someone who's wondering what to look for.
