I acquired this from an estate sale in Texas....Let's just say it was the right price. This will be graded this year hopefully at a coin show in PA at the end of March. The back is also colorful...I just didn't catch it.....I hope this takes over the number one slot when graded.

I know. It's all I had on file for it....But a dealer friend ex NCG grader liked it, but I will await the final verdict when I bring it to the coin show.

I suggest, better pics in the future and rotated properly. Too blurry to tell much.

Toning is artifical, high AU/low MS in grade.

Edit: try to get better pics, it would help greatly

Better pics will help. Color is questionable, as well as surface originality. From these pictures, I would grade it AU-55 Details.

However, we'll definitely need better images.

It's hard to tell, the pictures aren't good enough. I like the toning.... but a lot of coins from back then were cleaned. You might have to bounce it between 2nd tier (ANACS AND ICG) first to see what they think, then maybe bounce it between PCGS and NGC until it can get straight graded if possible.

I hope this takes over the number one slot when graded.

You do realize (I hope) that the PCGS top pop example of this coin is 2 graded at MS67?

Your photos are not in focus enough for a true grade opinion - but I'm confident this is not a coin that will grade above MS67.

Please share the TPG results when you get them.

Won't be graded until the end of March? Can you at least give us some better pics to chew on until then?

no camera at moment, butI've looked at the 64s on line and this to me at least surpasses them, but if it's a re-toner...I can forget this going high. I try and see what I can do over the weekend....take it out of the holder for close-ups if I can get someone with a good camera to do it.

Standing by. A couple of your pics show great potential, but the last two don't.

Get a nice, heavy-duty box, cut a hole big enough to fit your cell phone camera and flash over it and have the camera pointing down toward a table. Place white paper on the table and set the coin on top of it, then place the contraption over that and take the pictures.... Take as many high resolution photographs possible with the coin out of the case.

Usually a better idea to use external lighting and skip the cameras flash.
