I'm looking for the accompanying 3 images to post with this. But for now here's the cropped head photo. I got this from online from a local coin shop that happens to be nearby me as well in Boston....They got this from a collector in Texas....Lot of good stuff in Texas. This photo doesn't capture all the color, but you get the gist.....The reverse is only just starting to tone

I must be losing my touch on Indian Head Nickels . The ribbon around the hair braid should show a lot more details for a 64 Cac . Would have like to see the reverse of this coin .

Well you are for calling it an Indian Head Nickel and not a Buffalo

Lack of detail doesn't automatically mean wear though.

I'll get to these photos. The colors on this one is impressive. I wish this obverse was on my other double-sided Buffalo nickel toner I have up.

In what book does it say we have to call them Buffalo nickels ? In the olden days they were Indian heads .
