I acquired this in the last couple months....the reverse is stunning....and the obverse is nothing to scoff at either.

It could be that the OP purchased the coin on ebay when it was sold.

Brilliant! I was saying if he bought it a "couple" months ago then did he sell it last month?

that would be where I got it from.......which would be not this month....correct? I buy so much stuff I don't time stamp it...If you want I'll put it up for sale with a $5,000 price tag so you know I got it...lol...Actually I can beat that post...that's what the coin went for when it was up for auction.....but the guy /woman didn't pay/didn't like it ..I'm not sure....It wasn't sold...... https://www.ebay.com/itm/-/223209481188?nordt=true and it wasn't even that long ago....but it was October....I'm looking at it right now....I buy too much stuff...had this overnite....I was showing it off Halloween to a friend......now that being said....It's a heckuva coin....I waited up for that initial auction and I fell asleep before it ended.....contacted the seller and let him know...that he had some nice coins.....I told him what happened....and I was informed the coin was going back up for sale......and bada bing bada boom...it's mine......and if you want to be sure....send the seller of the original ebay post seller taquitachalupa a message....his real name is Mike by the way...and tell him Jay really enjoys this coin.....but I think I've made my case.

I clicked on the link Mark posted,does not look like the OP coin to me. I clicked on DoctorBurnzy link,does not look like the same coin in the old style holder.
Was the coin resubmitted to PCGS? Where is the rainbow toning in the old holder?

John 1 both photos look to be the same coin and at attribute the coin to the gold shield holder...https://www.PCGS.com/cert/36143343 Am I missing something? The holder appears to be correct unless you mistyped something....or maybe I am missing something...

Maybe I am doing something wrong. Now when I click on Marks link it is the same rainbow coin. But,when I click on DoctorBurnzy link it shows the old style holder and the coin is not rainbow and has a some kind of a die gouge under the chin?

I know what the problem is...when I click on the link it takes me to my personal page at ebay....but when you do it, it takes you elsewhere...well take solace in the fact that if you asked the taquitachalupa...aka...Mike and told him him Jay really likes the coin and the person who didn't pay up on the auction or returned it or whatever happened there doesn't deserve any guacamole...he'll laugh and verify that I'm the owner...lol....or you can go to the sellers feedback page...go to the fifth page look for a $250 purchase....where in my feedback I actually call him Mike and you can see the coin there.

That's a beautiful Buff!

@John1

I get the same coin, slab, seller, etc. from both links, it's just two separate listings. Like OP said, the original purchaser must have backed out or didn't pay and it was relisted.
