A ladder? I have never heard that term. Very interesting serial number though!

I always thought a ladder was ALL digits ascending or descending. So yours is a ladder. Maybe someone can explain to me why the following are ladders (found on ebay): 79123456 and 00224400

79123456 - if you write it this way, theoretically 1 is higher than 9

It's the only way I can see it could be pictured as ascending.

I wouldn't call it a ladder or a repeater.

I would, however, call it a really cool serial number and a very nice find!
