1916A 10 Pfennig It Is KM#12 Or KM#20

Well I have this 1916A German 10 Pfennig coin It looks like a KM#13 the Copper-nickel. BUT - it has the large beaded border of the KM# 20 zinc/iron

1916A is the KM#20. The beads on this coin clearly are the give away. The only 10 pfennig for 1916 KM#12 is 1916D I see listed. So get out a magnet and you should have your answer pretty quick as KM#20 is iron. Zinc 10 pfennig started in 1917 starting with KM#25.

I assume you meant KM#12.

I would also ask if you could show a more clear photo of the mintmark. I would be interested to see if this is perhaps a different mintmark than A. I just can not tell from the photo, although I have no reason to doubt your assessment.

Scopru the photo is as good as it gets. The coin is in g to VG condition. It is definitely an A. Yes it is magnetic.
