I picked this one up online a few months back and to my surprise it was from a coin/gold/silver bullion merchant who was only 15 minutes down the road, but yet I was unaware of his store. Go"ld" figure.

Nice coin. When searching for coins on ebay, I sometimes sort by "nearest first" just to see if anyone nearby is selling something I'm interested in. For one vendor, I asked if we could negotiate a deal outside of ebay (to save their fees), but they claimed they were out of town most of the time (I think it was likely BS).

I bought this nice 1904 maritime painting over the summer off ebay and I looked down at the seller and it was a couple towns over... I saved a lot on the freight by picking it up. I didn't even know that was an option on ebay...nearby search hmmmmm. It needs a cleaning whoever had it was a heavy smoker.....1904 Theodore Valenkamph. It's not a coin, but I like it.
