Not the most flattering image of a former United States Secretary of the Treasury. A fifth issue Fractional available in 10, 25 and 50 cents and issued over a small period of time, July 1874 - February 1876. Still, almost 200M were printed. The OP's note, Fr.1264 (green seal) is indeed found in fewer numbers than Fr.1265-66 (red seal). I particularly like the note for the flamboyant Spinner signature. Report this Post to the Staff
