The brass forgeries, of silver coinage for this period, were numerous.

Looks like a counterfeit shilling. There are collectors of counterfeit coins and some of the older pieces can be worth more than the originals. That is the case with many contemporary fake U.S. Bust half dollars.

Yes I know that some "fake coins " from period are rare but what about this ?

I don't collect them so I can't comment on this particular date/coin.
I would add that the majority I have seen are 2/6'S AND 1/-'s.
The crowns are now done by the Chinese.
