Hello, Does anyone know of any Buffalo nickels that could have been possibly made with bronze or copper .I have found this and it is almost brown in color .Any comments appreciated. no mint mark ,1935 nickel

There are known copper planchet BN's. Do more research,weight and most likely an XRF test will be needed.

I've seen lots of dark Nickels but yours is one of the darkest.

Must agree, nickel is subject to all kinds of discoloration to chemicals or the environment.
