1984-D LMC- Die Scratches Or Die Clash?

Hello. I'm not super experienced with Die clashes, so I may be asking an ameteur question, but This coin appears to have Die scratches or a die clash. I think Die clashes have to be bigger and match with the obverse of the coin( if clash is On reverse). Tell me what you think! Thank you! Happy hunting.

Yes, you are 100% correct! These are called Die Scratches. These are from whatever item they use to polish the die down, when they need to repair the die, when a Die Clash event happens. Someone on here told me that they can use an Emery stick, to file down the die.

They are die polishing scratches. Dies are polished to remove the effects of a clash, but this is not a clash.

Bay 4 from the right, is a die clash also.

It depends. Does any other parts of the Die Clash show on the reverse?
