First impression is a Dryer Coin. Just a damaged cent. However, I am sure other more knowledgeable members will chime in soon.

@DS, first welcome to CCF. Second, that is an interesting pattern of damage on your Wheat cent. As there is no damage to the rim, I'm skeptical that it came from a dryer, but clearing something has been rubbing against the rev side while the coin was spinning. I don't imagine that you would get any numismatic premium for this coin, but again, it is a neat find.
