I have a 1970 D penny DDO ? OR A D/S RPM ? There is definitely something going on around the mint D MM ,

Not seeing a DDO,but I think I see a notch on the upper left of MM so maybe a RPM.

I agree, not a doubled die, I think if you tone down the light source and the glare you would see the difference.

If you look at the mint mark area and the date, all contact on these devices are all from the same direction. Either coin contact ( PSD) or slight MD from the single direction.

Im looking at the 7 and the 9 you can kind of see the notching on the base of the 7 and 9 I will point out were I see the doubling next time ive been using Variety vista and wexlers for pics , maybe my pics aren't showing what I see
