I would say VG/F, but not more than Fine.

I think it makes VG-10. Parts of all letters in LIBERTY are visible, but the overall heavy wear on the portrait puts it just below Fine, IMO. The uneven distribution of dark color suggests it has been cleaned, but there are no heavy marks and I don't see any hairline scratches.

I agree with Ken_3567; this is a better date and it's hard to find nice examples. I've wanted to locate a high-grade example for some time but they are scarce and always expensive.

It's on the cusp of 12, but niggling issues knock it down to 11. Nice pickup!

VG-10 or F-12, possible old cleaning.
