Hey guys,

Wishing everyone had a nice weekend and wishing everyone has a good week ahead!

Give it a shot at guessing what this 1909 penny is graded at.

Holder is badly scratched. Tell us more about which obverse scratches are on the coin or on the holder.

Coinfrog the scratches are on the old PCGS holder. The fields look great and no cleaning. Sorry the cell phone isn't the greatest to show beyond the plastic.

Very nice and grade looks right on. The first photos make the coin look all red, bottom photo looks like it might be closer to what the coin looks like.

Right on with your observation, lightning can throw off the actual coin look. Thank you IndianGoldEagle. It is a nice coin indeed and the grading is proper I believe too.

There is a coin dealer out in Mississauga Ontario who always praises PCGS and their grading standard as always superior to the rest of the companies. Although grading is always going to be and is subjective, I also believe PCGS to be top.
