On CCF, all Lincoln Cents are considered modern coins, so I moved your post to the appropriate section for the proper attention. Please review the forum section descriptions, so posts are made in the correct section.

My slow attempt to get a type set of Lincoln proofs before they massed produced them...well these were mass produced too but nothing like today. trying to do 1950 through 1964 first. I have some others as well. I have a nice 1952 but the pictures aren't there for it. I'll post those here though because they don't deserve a post on their own yet. Proof-65 RB 1952

Hey.... total long shot but is there any chance that the 1953 could be fire sale? I'm working on a date set of proof wheaties. Thank you so much.

No. I'm working on a colorful pegs proof set 1950 - 1959. Somewhere recent in the modern coin forum like a month ago I showed a 1954 or a 1958 and then I show them all within one of the two posts.

Quote: One of my 53's has some thin, reddish toning...the surfaces look like liquid! One of my favorite coins: Badthad , that is appsolutely a gorgeous proof wheatie .
