What would you grade this one? This is a perfect example of buy the coin not the slab.

Hmm, I'd say this coin would be nice at vf-25 , but I'm guessing that the wizards probably put something about... XF-45

Oh and you might wanna be careful with that phrase "buy the coin, not the holder", as you might offend the collectors who would rather have PCGS and NGC do the learning instead of themselves.

xf40 details scratched. I think it is sharper than vf but I don't like the two scratches over the shoulder and the one to the right of liberty's knee in the right obverse field.

It looks like a 25 but also looks like it was poorly struck up so if they took that into account it could go as high as 40.

I'd give it a VF-30. I'd say the head looks a little bit weak struck. Overall nice coin!

Here is the grade, I had to post the picture otherwise no one would have believed me! It is a nice looking coin just not an XF45. I would give it a VF30.
