Boulder Girl New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 07/27/2008 11:30 pm Hello, While metal detecting, my husband and I recently uncovered an 1830 Boulivian coin. It appears to be hand forged but I haven't been able to find any information on it and nothing in the books that I've come across. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions on where I can locate more details? We've been lucky to find a few rare coins while prospecting. Anyone else lucky too? The denomination will be in soles, and marked on the coin just to the left of the date: 1S, 2S, 4S or 8S for 1, 2, 4 or 8 soles. Some of the denominations also have assorted mintmark and overdate varieties. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis Report this Post to the Staff
