Quote: Did you take these pics with your new rig? Yes. Slabbed photos are more challenging than raw. I'm pretty happy with the way the raw are turning out though. Still need to experiment with the slabbed. Fortunately, most of my coins are raw.

It might need better lighting for dark coins. I really can't tell much from these pics. Aside from that it looks much better.

To be honest, its a really dark coin. It is literally as dark as a BN half penny I got graded. This picture makes it look bright. I had the same problem getting the penny to show up, but I made a better effort with the half penny by moving to direct sunlight.
