Armistice Commemorative Collector Keepsake - I received two of these sets as a gift from my son. A cardboard holder with the two $2 Armistice coins and other circulating 2018 coins. On one of these sets, the 5 cent piece is facing the "wrong" way. It was not removed from the cellophane packaging. It is still unopened in the see through packaging. Is this common? Is it maybe valuable as a packaging error?

As an aside, it is a nice enough presentation but for what they charge, they should have included the 50 cent coin as well as the regular $2 coin. It was a gift so I should not complain but the mint seems to be "nickel and diming" us more and more (bad pun).

Best pun ever, especially since... uhh have you noticed the name of the previous writer?

No, because the cardboard holding the coins can be easily removed from the cellophane since the cellophane is not heat sealed and only healed with adhesive tape. Just lift the adhesive and slide the carboard out and you could arrange the coins anyway you want. Then just re-seal it with the tape.

Good point. I never checked to see how the item is sealed.

So I carefully opened the cello with the holder that had the nickel inserted the wrong way. I thought I might put the coins from that set in my individual albums. Using tongs I could not pry any of them off of the cardboard/plastic holder.

Did anyone else buy this item and try to remove the coins?
