On CCF, a Peace dollar is considered a Classic Coin, so I moved your post to the appropriate grading section for the proper attention.

Please review the forum section descriptions, so posts are made in the correct section.

to CCF. Not good at grading so I won't. But I like the over-all look of it. It is special because it is made of silver and it is my mothers birth year . Since your GF has had it so long, she should make it her pocket piece

AU details cleaned. This is a common date silver dollar with some surface damage from cleaning. Although a collector or dealer might call this harshly cleaned because the original surface is gone, the coin retains just about all the detail in the design.

If she has had it since she was a little girl and likes the coin, then it is most certainly special. If it brings back fond memories of childhood, it is extremely special.

Just a nice worn coin. Not worth but maybe $20, but since its special to her it doesn't matter.
