How Do You Tell The Difference KM Wise 1839 US Penny's

Conder101 Bedrock of the Community United States 17884 Posts	Posted 12/19/2018 03:28 am There are FIVE different head types in 1839, Head of 1836, Head of 38, Silly head, Booby head, and head of 1840. Yours is a head of 1840, sorry but I don't know how that relates to KM numbers. OK, looked at my digital copy of SCWC. I is a little older and only lists KM 45 and KM 67 and only lists 1839 as KM 45. KM 67 starts the Braided hair series and your coin IS a Braided hair, so if your book list an 1839 under KM 67 that would be the coin you have.
