tonight I picked just seventy-one cents, but I also found a pretty nice 1997 Swiss 5 centimes and an avg. circ. 2002 two-cent Euro from Italy, picked both of those from the same air-vac area, maybe an uber driver shook out his car's floor mats there..... and I scored a new, unopened 1 liter bottle of circle k purified water, someone left it near a soda machine along my route. I checked my notes; that is the tenth bottle of water I've scored this year and only the second bottle that wasn't 16.9oz.

very nice MrPink! But I didn't know that the circle K chain traveled that far East.

according to the interwebs there are more circle k stores in the east than there are in the west, with florida containing 14% of the total circle k stores. I rarely buy anything there. everyone else buys stuff there and leaves elsewhere for me to find.

as for the circle K stores, it started in El Paso then spread west through New Mexico, then on to Arizona - that happened in 1951. during that time they adopted the encircled K to give it a 'western' look

i go there about twice a year for a new styrofoam coffee cup, which I use almost daily until it wears out many months down the road. that's all I go there for. I limit my visits there. I find more money and stuff outside the building than I spend money on inside the building.
i have way too many stories...

i caught a wild buck last night: $1.48 on the night, dodging the rain, looks like our break from summer has arrived slightly early this year, temps the past several days have been somewhat suppressed due to all the cloud cover & rain.

Nice score on the Wild Bill, MrPink! Quote: I also found a pretty nice 1997 Swiss 5 centimes and an avg. circ. 2002 two-cent Euro from Italy You're building up a nice collection of international coins with all of your finds!
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures
