The devices pretty much line up with normal, but not exactly. So a larger view would help. Wexler lists one, but notes other areas affected: Quote: 1989-D 1¢ WDDR-001 Description: Extra thickness shows on USA, EPU, ONE CENT, and the designer's initials. Some separation shows on EPU and the designer's initials. Notches show on AMERICA and ONE CENT. When the images are too close perspective goes out of the window. I read something about 1970-S Small dates as having a smaller date. So I made a larger image to see if that was true or not: Sure enough they are smaller and all the examples on PCGS has the floating roofs on most of them. Some have a weak vertical sides on the roof. If so then it stands to reason the smallest devices could be slightly enlarged and the rest of the coin is normal. Report this Post to the Staff
