Good Evening everyone,

I collect Mexican 5 Centavos concentrating largely on Second Republic silver. I just bought this 1869 Ca recently, and I was really lucky to do so. I can rarely find any 1867-1869 5 Centavos, mostly being due to low mintages just like this one (30k). Would anyone here have a good source of where to find these earlier dates?

Thanks and Happy New Year!

MaximillianMike You know how to pick them - the 5 centavo issues of the second republic are not documented anywhere (accurately) that I know of. So I guess you get the job.

Good luck with the undertaking - it is uncharted territory.

Thanks Swamperbob

I find them alot of fun and normally very affordable. This one is unlike any other I have in my set. Crudely struck with an amazing reeded edge that looks unique. Will have to share some pictures of it later on.
