Is there any special designation/variation for Jefferson's hair style on this coin versus hair on 1990-P? (I didn't have a photo of another 1996-P with 1990-P hair style).

Here are the obverse die varieties:

The 1992 shows the hair was accented, but they haven't added any other dates on the ODV-025. (on link above)

As this is not a defined variety, does that mean the different obverse accented hair for various 1996-P Nickles are just variations in different dies?

P.S. Do the varieties listed on Variety Vista or Wexler's tend to sell for a premium or only varieties listed in Cherry Picker's?

Not to derail the thread, but the '90P is often overlooked, although I've found

a few WDDR-001 with minimal scrutiny. Easiest way to tell, is a die crack coming from rim

& extending to the 1st T in TRUST. No '90 should be discarded, as the Denver issues

have missing DIs.

Edit: I guess this should have been in your '90P thread.
