Seems to be a depiction of an elephant. Besides sharper photos, measuring the diameter and getting a weight would also be helpful.

Milled, so probably more likely just wrecked rather than old.
Little or no legend and an indecipherable central design. Might not be a coin at all but a gaming or advertising token of some sort.
