Hi all :) this coin caught my attention and I'd like to know if it special or not. It looks like it's got a partial clad layering maybe, looks like a skull from an angle too. It's strange looking to say the least. It's reddish/ pinkish in some areas that seem to miss the coating also.. idk thanks in advance for your feedback!

Looks like environmental damage.
Not an error, it's a spender.

In the future please take photos of both sides and rotate properly.
My monitor is too big to try to turn.

to the CCF.

Your 2013-D Jefferson nickel has experienced some environmental toning - could be caused by a number of reasons.

The coin is struck on a solid alloy, no clad layers present.
