Mostly so one can't bring in tokens from off site and use in the machines. As been stated there are a lot of different type machines that use them. Some are the kind that give prizes out, or items that are for sale. As to the numbers or letters on the reverse. I have others that have ODO on them and those numbers are common, Since they aren't high value tokens haven't come across anybody that worry about what they mean so far Report this Post to the Staff
