Came across a coffee can full of coins that looked burned in my opinion. This is the oldest one found. I'm just glad the date is visible.

That is not a Morgan dollar and not silver. It is an 1889 Liberty Head or V nickel. The value in that condition is low.

You'd probably have a hard time just trying to spend this as a nickel!
