As to the coin, there is nothing major going on with it. The "double edge" of the rim is caused by a slightly misaligned die. What is interesting is that both sides show it, and in different directions. If they were the same direction from side to side, it would be considered an off-center strike. As it is, the dime shows a misaligned die strike on both sides. It's interesting, but also very minor in degree, so I don't expect much value or anything. The weakness of the 1 in the date and other elements may be due to partial Grease Fill on the die or the effects of a tilted hammer die.
