Looks like an acid coin but always supply a full photo of both sides.

Your coin is not an error . As mentioned, probably acid damage . I would also say acute salt water damage but your photos are showing inconsistent different colors .

Hey sorry for the late response but it does appear to be some sort or acid damage. I was referring to the letters about Lincoln's head. Seems to read "United" anyone see this?
