Since I've been away from coins for quite sometime, I started going through some of the boxes of LWC that I have had stored for approximately the last 15 years. Just wanting some opinions on the grade of this 1928 LWC from some of the more seasoned collectors on this board. Updated the pictures out of the 2x2. Thanks for the input, I had this coin graded as an XF-45, but wanted to see how my grades compared with some more experienced graders, as I tend to grade a little harshly. to CCF. When posting a photo,it is always best to remove whatever type of holder it is in before taking the pic whenever possible. Especially for grading. I also recommend flattening those staples so you don't end up damaging other coins in 2x2 if you store them in a coin box. John1

Is that a BIE? I've never seen one on a Lincoln Cent that old!

That does look like a BIE, good eye! I'd put the grade closer to AU-50 with sharp full ear and some luster still present. to the CCF!

A die break between the B and E of Liberty. But now with the new photos out of the 2x2, it doesn't look like a BIE anymore. Anyway, might make AU-53.
