Im afraid this type is really commonly counterfeited, but when I went to check it against known fakes, I found this thread ( https://www.cointalk.com/threads/ne...etra.318302/) where a person reports that they bought this very coin. The guys over at cointalk didnt find problems with it, which is as good a sign as you could hope for.

thanks guys wow it is same coin unless a fake made identical? ... could it be that there was an issue with the coin and was returned and dealer posted it again for sale? in that case there could be an issue with it as the original owner didnt keep it

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you are already a member here under the name of AlRashid. Why another user name? Also why do you give your location as Texas when in fact your in Canada? I changed it.

I imagine the seller is the very guy that bought it, as they are using the exact same picture. If they are a newer ebay account, they might be straight up scamming and aren't in possession at all. There really is no way to create such exact replicas of coins except potentially very good electrotypes, but even those would have trouble creating the same toning.

How has he come to that conclusion? Is the metal content off? How does he account for the 'horn silver'?

Seeing that you didn't reply to my comment I'm going to give you a choice which account do I ban. Having more than one account is a red flag. Unless I hear from you with an explanation I will ban all your account and any further ones you try and register.

Hey Ron
To be honest the reason I create a second account was to avoid noise as I noticed people from forum coins are tracking me here such as JSermarini who found my post regarding his coin. I just hate to be tracked by such sites :(

Hi Ben
The metal content is below:
96% silver (way off should have been max 80%)
0.83 gold
0.10 lead
2.58 copper
Horn silver is faked based on what the local dealer said to me . Is this dealer reliable? To be honest I dont know him so cant trust him much

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and let you use this account but I'm locking AlRashid. A word of warning, do not register any other accounts here. I hope that is clear!

Thanks Ron! sorry again but had to do this because I felt my old account was compromised and being tracked. Ben, I found this coin from same dealer and it seems identical (match die) which makes me more thinking it is fake. https://www.ma-shops.com/aeternitas...e=1&curr=USD
