Seems to be on a thinner planchet (probably normal composition..). In bad shape but would love some insight as to what this is. A lot of wear can easily take me slightly under 3 grams..but 2.66?

Acid dipped. Not a mint error. An altered coin. PSD.

The reason why some cents were altered.
