I sent 7 in last week. Got there right before the Early Release cut off date

Fox- how did you fare with the 7 you submitted? I submitted 2, ( that's all I initially bought not knowing they were going to end up on back order), and both came back 70. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised.

Good timing....my registered package that has been walking up to MA from Fl arrived in Providence this am. Normally would be transferred to my post office for delivery today but I bet it won't be until Monday 'cuz of the registered thing....and I misstated..it was really 9 bucks not 7...along with 11 Light Finish Kennedy's

Stay tuned...

I got a roll of the P and D 2018 uncirculated innovation coins and it looks like the mint decided to drop them in a wood chipper just for fun before sending them off. I didn't expect them all to be perfect 70s but they should at least be as nice as the average penny I find in a new bank roll.

Well they're back...not as good as last time with the Light Finish boys (14/15 70's) but still decent. The Innovation bucks I had no clue because of the huge open areas on the obverse but got some 70's

I was very loose with my submitting criteria and just wanted to get some iffy Kennedy's attributed with the Light Finish

Five to four 70's with the Kennedy's

Innovation four to five 70's

Nice results Fox!

Anyone know what percentage of innovation dollars have been grading at 70? Despite having that big blank space, I have a feeling it may be higher than some may think. Maybe in the high 30's.

PCGS has 1,097 PR69 and 599 PR70 -- just around 35% are coming back as 70.

That seems pretty high for PCGS am I right? This was my first time submitting so I'm not very familiar with what's typical.

I'd say it depends on the series, but digging a little bit it does seem on the higher end for 70s. For comparison, the Native American dollar proofs run around 25% at the most, earlier Sac's no higher than 10%: https://www.PCGS.com/pop/detail/sac...d=0&t=3&p=PR

Presidential dollars are about the same over the same time frame: https://www.PCGS.com/pop/detail/pre...07-date/1650

You'll get different percentages for clad and bullion pieces -- these small dollars are about as apples-to-apples as we can get.
