I am astounded that these can still be found for less than what the mint charged even though they sold out in 3 days or so. The mintage was 50,000. Total 2017-S ASE proofs are only 125,000 when congratulations set added. Here's the set I just received.

At under mint issue price, it seems like a deal to me.

Yeah I recall seeing them under issue price a couple months after their release. Also a bit surprised their value dropped so quickly. It's almost as if the hype died as soon as it sold out. I really like that set too. The coins really stand out in that packaging.

@jimbucks - nice score! I bought mine at retail from the Mint because I missed the Congrats set (and only for that reason). If you don't mind, how much under original issue price did you pay?
