I've been collecting coins for decades - I specialize in US coinage but dabble in world silver and copper too. Over the years I've also acquired numerous pieces that don't fit my collection. I have bags of world coins, medals, tokens, etc. and I have a thick envelope of foreign banknotes too. I always thought I'd organize everything but never got around to it - I'm sure alot of us have that problem!

I'm almost ready to sell some of these pieces, so I checked on ebay (which I despise) and I see a quite a few listings for world currency. Some listings are by the note, others are grab bags.

My question: when it comes time to sell, does it make sense to sell in bulk, or should I list the notes individually?

I know it comes down to how much time and effort I want to put into it (grading notes, listing notes, shipping notes), but I'm wondering what your experience has been selling banknotes recently.

Don't grade cause it is subjective and the buyer might disagree. Just place a photo and sell individually. Most collector are trying to complete their list so a bulk lot will sell for less cause your notes might be a duplicate of theirs. Offer regular shipping for cheap notes. Registered for more expensive ones. Be prepared for some lost mail.
