I have just started getting into hunting for errors and have found a few things that have caught my eye. This 1952-d that was in a book of random wheats at the pawn shop today. Excuse the poor photos, and I was wondering if scanning them would be better? Anyways I can not seem to find anything out about this coin, and it may just be nothing I really have no clue, please help, thanks.

Looks like it was dipped in acid at one time. Not worth 1.50$ - I'm thinking just 1¢ as it is damaged.

Yeah, no big loss. It may have been acid-dipped too long in an attempt to make it "shiny" or it may have been exposed to very high heat. Either way, just damage.

to CCF. As noted, just damaged aka PSD=post strike damage. Photos are better than scans. 20 cents is still over priced, value is copper melt value.

That lesson was well worth Twenty Cents. Welcome to CCF by the way.
