Something Weird Is Going On With This 1952 D Lincoln Wheat Penny

Wavvves New Member United States 6 Posts	Posted 01/14/2019 10:41 pm I have just started getting into hunting for errors and have found a few things that have caught my eye. This 1952-d that was in a book of random wheats at the pawn shop today. Excuse the poor photos, and I was wondering if scanning them would be better? Anyways I can not seem to find anything out about this coin, and it may just be nothing I really have no clue, please help, thanks. Report this Post to the Staff

It may have been acid-dipped too long in an attempt to make it "shiny" or it may have been exposed to very high heat. Either way, just damage.
