I think this is a lamination issue. It goes throughout most of the obverse rim, and it looks like some of it is peeled and some of it is retained. Do I have this one right? Thanks!

Yes, looks like some type of lamination peeling. It's common, nothing major here.

Just another piece of advice. Your pictures are so good, they would look even better if you gave your coin an acetone bath just to take/clean off those little specks of dusk/debris before to take the pictures. Just my 2 cents.

I am a fan of lamination flaws, so I would keep that one.

Lamination's, Cracks, and Struck troughs are fun to collect.
Good Pictures, what light source do you use, I have a hard time capturing color match.
