Error In 1993 Penny?

Hi, so I am kind of new to the collecting and finding values to coins kind of thing, and I was looking over these pennies that I found, and surprisingly I may have found a penny that may or may not have value to it.

So here in these two pictures I have a 1993 penny that has some scratches and wear here and there, but on the back the "S" and "O" of "The United States of America" seems a little bit worn. Is that caused by damage from over the years or is this some kind of error?

That is very common on Memorial cents. On the obverse side there is a lot of metal movement happening and sometimes the metal does fill in that area. Or in other cases there is a Struck Through Grease issue. Neither is a premium for a coin. When you've been through hundreds, then thousands of cents, then you will see what I mean when I say it is common.
