Priceless to me, anywayz! My dad carried this 1924 Peace dollar for around 60 years. I don't know what shape it was to begin with but as a kid, I never saw him without this lucky coin in his pocket. It's mine now, I'm not going to carry it but curious what 60 years of of a lucky charm turned it into. I can see the date when the light hits it just right.

Very nice , but you should also have that coin for your pocket piece so your Dad will be with you always .

Or instead of wearing off the date on that one, get another 1924 Peace dollar for 20 bucks and carry that one around as your own pocket piece for the next 60 years.

It's just not the same of having your fathers coin in your pocket . Quote: Get that one encapsulated and continue it, make it a tradition! I'm 62, don't think I can hang on for another 60, but would be awesome!! It's in an airtite, I will keep it as long as I live. Just wish my kids gave a darn about old coins. I'm working on a grand-daughter, gave her a double eagle for her birthday, plan on doing the same as long as I live. We'll see where that goes. :-)

Send it in for PO-01 grade ONLY if date is readable . If it isn't then heed my previous advice .
