This one awaiting a grade at PCGS. The color is very tough to call, but from having also seen it in-hand, I lean strongly toward RB. The luster is very subdued. 1915-D:

Looking at those oxidation spots, I have a hard time seeing this in a straight holder. Some effort may have been made to remove them in the upper left obverse field.

If it straight grades then MS63RB. The spots really hurt the eye appeal and if the luster is subdued it likely won't go higher. The positive side is the reverse, it's beautiful and the strike is absolutely hammered.

I was personally afraid to touch anything in this book with conservation. Also, this cent and all others in the album are from a collection that was started in the 1910's, so I don't think this coin has been worked. Quote: If it straight grades then MS63RB. They reworked the master hubs in 1915, so many of them are very nice. (Heh, apparently they let Denver have some new hubs, too, this time..)

64 RB, possible Red.
I would conserve this coin. THUMPING strike!! Look at that beard detail! Strike carries this coin out of the 63 grade.

I tend to agree with Acloco . However the only thing that bothers me is the spot on his shoulder .The cut on his head I can live with . Reverse is virtually impeccable . MS-63+RB

MS63RB those carbon spots are annoying. my eye is drawn straight to them. if someone did attempt to remove those on the field to the left of the bus then I would think it would details. the beard and hair strike is off the chart

For the record, my guess for this one was 63-RB. I figured the spots would take it down a grade. 1915-D, MS64-RB:
