Hi
i have come upon a range of australian pennys and half pennys and am wondering if its worth getting any of them valued or not bother?
the dates of the pennys:
1921, 1933 (not overstamped), 1934, 1936, 1942, 1943, 1944, 1947, 1949, 1952, 1957, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964.
the dates of the half pennys
1921, 1926, 1942, 1943, 1945, 1948, 1951, 1960, 1961

Welcome to the forum
It is difficult from your listing to tell you value
It will depend on the condition of the coins.

Are you new to collecting?
Do you know about grading? (Do NOT CLEAN these coins)

In very good condition some of these coins start off at 50 cents each some of the halfpennys are worth a bit more depending on minting.

Do you have access to a copy of Greg McDonalds The Pocket Guide to Australian Coins and Banknotes?

If you need specific prices for each coin we would have to know the grade

I think there are some nice varieties for those dates, and some mintmarks are scarcer as well.
If you posted a few pics we could tell you if there's anything special.

If you are new to collecting, you should be aware that the "very good condition" that rggoodie is referring to, is actually a grade, not a condition.

A coin in very good grade is actually very worn and is a low grade.
A coin that shows good detail and not much wear might have a grade of very fine, extremely fine, uncirculated.
All these grades assign a different value to the coins, along with rarity, demand and overall eye appeal.

To give you an example, your first coin, the 1921 penny graded very good has a catalogue value of 75c, where as in uncirculated grade, it catalogues at $1,220. A big difference as you can see.

If you don't have access to a Maccas, you could post some pictures and we will be able to give you more of an idea.
