If any of you Canadian collectors bust open sets or know anyone who does I am needing the 2006 Snowy Owl one dollar coin out of the 2006 set! Feel free to email as I WANT this COIN!! The world mints are getting way to wise for us as they continue to find ways to FORCE us to buy sets!

Hey Terry,

My three sets arrived Monday, and my daughter has ordered three sets herself.

Really attractive.

No, sorry, not going to break open one of my sets, even for a friend such as yourself.

Just curious...what do you want the single coin for?

I like to keep singles of the coins I WISH to retain for my collection and then I don't hurt so bad when I do have to bust a set for those positive investment dealings! I see potential in quite a few of the coins in that Canadian set but still would like to have a single stashed back for me!!!

PLEASE DISREGARD MY REQUEST FOR THE SNOWY OWL AS I HAVE ALREADY LOCATED ONE!!!

On a related subject, does anybody know what the specimen set (containing the Snowy Owl) is currently bringing on ebay, or other markets?

I have no interest in selling mine, and my daughter intends to keep her sets, it's just that a couple collectors have told me this set should really rise in value. And, I'm wondering if it is.

Currently, they're selling for between $32 and $35 on ebay. This may be because they are still available from the Mint. I also anticipate the prices rising once they are sold out.
