Hey all...
Pretty neat cracks on this coin. Big question I have is, for a Retained Cud, is there a "size" restriction? As you can see, the one crack goes rim to rim on both sides of the coin, this is what I am considering a Retained Cud. the other crack is just as nice and goes rim to rim on the one side. Thanks for any input!

@dw, thanks for posting this interesting piece. I don't think that you have Cuds here--rather two rim-to-rim die cracks. Here is the cuds-on-coins link to their definitions:

Thanks for the link! The only reason I brought up Retained Cud is because both the obverse and reverse cracks go rim to rim (same crack visible both sides)...

It's funny how all my foreign coins have the coolest errors... I know that they are not a stringent as we are here in the states, at least it makes collecting fun!

I love Foriegn error coins too! The errors can be pretty major. Also, I love the Doubled Dies on Foriegn coins as well.

Some of those Doubled dies are extreme! just saw several in the Errorscope today. Mechanical Doubling is the most common... Just like you, I love them all!
