Need a clearer picture of the whole coin.
A genuine 8 over 7 has a small Cud at 9:00.
Not seeing that on yours. ( Could just be the picture)

There are 2 8/7 varieties, one has a Cud the other doesn't. I don't think this is either one.

There is only one die for the 1888/7 S-1. Examples are known from both before and after the Cud formed.

Correct date position for 1888/7 S-1:


1888-Last-8-Over-7-Indian-Head-Penny
