grendelfreak...yes it looks like the coin you have in your link, however this one is in silver and bears an "A" mint mark instead of the "C". With a mintage of only 1500, you do not need to be a genius to work out the demand this coin will generate especially when most if not all decimal collectors collect the dollar coin. shatsi.... I have resigned myself to the prospect of buying at least one of each when they are resold through ebay. Being where I am, it is not possible for me to attend any of the coin shows...

If you are going to stand in line, can any of the rest of us place orders with you or is there a limit? It is a little difficult to stand in a queue from 19000 kilometers away.

I wonder if there is a quota on the number of coins customers are allowed to buy?

I would say yes maybe 5 per customer or even less. If they don'y you will find one or two people have the majority of them.

if they issue them in perth between me and the missus and my little boy we should be able to get hold of a few for fellow forum members , I will have more information when the canberra show is over as my local dealer will have a stand there and they should know if the mint will have a perth coin fair special available so we must bid our time for a couple of weeks

lol..lim I could close my eyes and wish. I really cant understand why they would double up on a mint mark though..Maybe Adelaide doesn't exist anymore..lol All the same, It would be nice to have even 1 coin fair release in the collection. All part of the thrill, tracking 1 down
